Requirements for CCHI Instructor Clinic Host Site.

 

  1. Minimum of 10 horses available to be used for clinic participants for whatever level needed. (Horses need to be able to perform at these levels.)
  2. Minimum of one riding arena.
  3. English & Western saddles available for those who wish to be certified both seats.
  4. Trails available for use of clinic participants.
  5. Housing, shower facilities, food service and meeting room to accommodate clinic participants.
  6. The host site will need to provide directions both by plane and by car.
  7. Head Clinic instructor will be fully reimbursed for travel expenses by host site camp.  (i.e. mileage, food and tolls when traveling by vehicle - air travel includes ticket cost and mileage to and from airport.) Assistant clinic instructor will not receive reimbursement unless previously arranged by host site camp.
  8. There is a minimum amount of $300.00 honorarium to be given by the host camp to the clinic instructor.  (Assistant clinic instructors are in training and do not receive an honorarium.)
  9. Host site needs to send out a registration form, health form, schedule, clothing list, and information on how to obtain necessary manuals etc... to each participant.  (These can be purchases through CCHI.) Participants should have these at least 1-3 weeks prior to attending the clinic what is expected of the participant at the clinic paper.
  10. Separate sleeping rooms for clinic instructors and participants is required. Please do not have instructors in the same room as participants.
  11. CCHI clinic fee is $300.00 per participant. $200.00 of this goes to the host camp and $100.00 per person goes to the CCHI office. Of this, $25.00 goes towards participant’s first year’s membership fee and $75.00 for office and processing fees.
